Other mountain areas of interest near Sanya are Jianfengling and Wuzhishan ("the mountain at the Five Fingers"). The hiking trails are well signposted and allow the tropical forest in Hainan to be better understood. The best is to rent a car to go directly and have to pay only the entrance ticket to the parks. If not, you must go through a local agency to arrange your travel. As a last resort: The taxi, unless you are an excellent negotiator!
