MUSEO ARQUEOLÓGICO DE ASTURIAS
Museum with historical and ethnographic heritage of Asturias
Located in the former convent of San Vicente, declared a National Monument in 1934, the museum brings together pieces that bear witness to the historical and ethnographic heritage of Asturias, covering the periods from prehistory to the Middle Ages. Palaeolithic tools, Roman mosaics, furniture and musical instruments, here each object tells a story. On the ground floor, don't miss the collection of heraldic pieces and sarcophagi from different periods.
