Beautiful typical villas in the southeast of the city of Villar and Barcellina
This type of architecture owes its name to the "Indianos", Spanish emigrants mainly from the north of the peninsula who, at the end of the 19th century, left to seek their fortune in America (Los America). Those who succeeded and returned to their lands of origin commissioned the construction of majestic private houses, but also public buildings. The neighbourhoods of Villar and Barcellina, in the south-east of the city, are home to several beautiful villas typical of this style.
