Open since 1902, this typical tapas bar, with the inevitable hams hanging above the counter, is popular with locals and tourists alike for its delicate cuisine. The menu is extensive, as is the wine list, with over 300 local references. We recommend the house specialities such as clam fries, Iberian sausages or well-cooked Cantabrian fish. The restaurant also has a small shop selling a fine selection of the best Spanish wines. A stone's throw from the Plaza de España.

In the centre of Avilés. The food is good and well prepared but the prices are a bit high. Often organised events with special menus. Highly recommended wild boar stew.
