Museum installed in a former textile factory founded in 1892, allowing to discover the machines and techniques of yesteryear

Installed in a former textile factory founded in 1892, this museum takes us back to the time of the industrial revolution to discover the machines and techniques of yesteryear. Closed since 1992, this factory mainly produced Basque berets (the famous "txapela"). It is located less than two kilometres from the historic centre of Balmaseda, on the banks of the Kadagua River, where hydraulic power was used to operate the machines.
