Rooms overlooking the Ria in a hotel with restaurant in Bilbao, offering gourmet cuisine by chef Martin Berasategui.
In an elegant 1924 building, once the headquarters of the "Zubicaray" department stores, a cosmopolitan hotel with about 60 rooms. Inaugurated in 2018, Tayko offers a chic and minimalist decor, where the original structure of the building - and in particular the concrete - is highlighted with great elegance. In addition to its pretty rooms, some of which overlook the Ria, the hotel stands out for its gastronomic offer led by chef Martín Berasategui in the Ola restaurant. A beautiful contemporary address in the heart of the historic centre!

Une fois sur place nous n’avons nullement été déçus, bien au contraire. Au bord de la rivière Nervion, côté Casco Viejo, l’hôtel est idéalement situé si vous voulez laisser votre voiture au parking (situé à 100 mètres, de l’autre côté de la rivière) et visiter la ville à pied ou avec les transports en commun (tramway à 100 m par exemple, pour vous emmener au Guggenheim).
L’équipe est très accueillante, très professionnelle et toujours disponible pour un bon conseil.
L’architecture est des plus originales et les chambres, très confortables, avec toutes les attentions nécessaires. Les petits-déjeuners vous calent pour la journée et le choix très vaste.
Un seul regret, ne pas avoir pu tester le restaurant de Martin Berasategui. Mais ce n’est que partie remise car nous avons tellement aimé Bilbao que nous y reviendrons et nous ne chercherons pas d’autre hôtel que le Tayko !
