SOMBRERERÍA GOROSTIAGA

Founded in 1857 by Fructuoso Gorostiaga, this noble house offers a selection of berets, caps and sombreros (hats) of all kinds. Most of the models - of good quality - come from Spanish factories. However, the owner Emilio Pirla continues to make (to order) hats by hand, as in the past, in his workshop at the back of the shop. It must be said that in the 1930s, Bilbao had 100,000 inhabitants and no less than 14 hatters! A timeless place to enjoy a traditional txapela (beret)!
