FERIA DEL ÚLTIMO LUNES DE GERNIKA

On the last Monday in October, Gernika hosts the largest agricultural fair in the region. On this occasion, some 900 stands are set up in the town centre with local products (artisan cheese, Bizkaia txakoli, cider, honey, etc.), the best of which are awarded by a jury. Also on the programme for the day: bertsolaris recitals, cesta punta competitions and demonstrations of rural Basque sport.
