Read moreThis is where the regional Euskotren trains leave for Hendaye or Bilbao. The "topo" goes to Hendaye between 6 a.m. and 9:45 p.m. (two departures per hour) and at night from Saturday to Sunday (with a departure every 2 hours). It also links Donostia to Bilbao, but the journey is much longer than by bus: about 2h30, compared with 1h15 by bus... A new topo station, "Centro-La Concha", is due to open at the end of 2025.
ESTACIÓN SAN SEBASTIÁN-DONOSTIA
Read moreAlso known as Estación del Norte, this is San Sebastián's main railway station. Inaugurated in 1864, it is served by national and international lines, as well as by Cercanías regional trains to Pasaia, Tolosa, Beasain, Legazpi... (line C1). The "Y vasca" project, a high-speed line from Vitoria-Gasteiz to Bilbao and San Sebastian on the French border, is scheduled for completion in 2027.
