BARRIO DE LA MARINA (FISHERMEN'S QUARTER)

The old fishermen's quarter spreads around Calle San Pedro, Calle Santiago, and the fishermen's brotherhood of San Pedro founded in 1361. In the morning as well as in the evening, it is always lively! The whitewashed walls, the colourful shutters of the houses and the balconies laden with flowers make up a most picturesque setting. Here, you can stroll among the crowd, stopping every fifty metres for a pintxo and a glass of wine on a terrace on Calle San Pedro.
