PRINCELY PRISTINE CHAMBER

Pretty red brick building, preceded by an elegant covered staircase, it has been converted into a museum where today there is an exhibition retracing Dimitri's life and the history of local craftsmanship, with antique objects such as a tiled stove. The palace dates from the 15th century, its carved wooden porch is from the 19th century. The Palace Museum, one of the first Russian museums, exhibits samples of the various decorative arts typical of the Uglich region.
