VISIT MURMANSK

The Murmansk tourist office is very convenient to get information about the various possible excursions in the region. It is advisable to go through them (or another agency, for that matter) because here, many areas are still "forbidden" (they are called "ZATO"), or at least their entry is regulated. This is for strategic reasons (ports, nickel mines, etc.) or simply to protect nature. For these reasons and many others (difficult access), it's sometimes a bit complicated to start the adventure on your own!
