In 1743 Ivanovo became the domain of the extremely wealthy Prince Sheremetyev, whose influence you have already seen with his huge estates around Moscow. As everywhere the prince settled, his hotel is today one of the most sumptuous architectural features of the city: on the ground floor are the reception hall and the storeroom; above it are the apartments. You can still see the stable and the servants' apartments next to the building.
