FEODOR VOLKOV THEATRE

It has a façade with four ochre-coloured columns. In the 18th century, the first wooden theatre in Russia was located in front of the present theatre. The actor and founder of the Russian national theatre Volkov performed on this stage, and Yaroslavl being the homeland of the first Russian theatre, the city has a theatre institute. The statue of Volkov (who doesn't seem displeased with him) is in front of a park, on a sort of roundabout.
