It (СМОЛЕНСКО-КОРНИЛИЕВСКАЯ ЦЕРКОВЬ) was built between 1696 and 1705 on the site of the former Borissoglebsky Monastery. The decoration of the facades is remarkable. It is one of the most interesting monuments of 17th century provincial architecture. It is only a few steps away from the Monastery of St. Nicholas.
