Irabu-jima, located one quarter of the ferry's hour of Hirara, is a pretty small island still champêtre.You can see some carriages in the sugar cane fields. Irabu-jima and Shimoji-jima are connected by six bridges and offer beautiful beaches. Next to the airport, on Shimoji-jima, beautiful, mysterious lakes, bound by tunnels. Both islands are easily visited in one day.
