YUFUIN TAMANOYU
A former sanatorium for Zen priests has been converted into a hotel, offering 16 rooms with beds, private bathrooms and baths
This former sanatorium for Zen priests was converted into a hotel in 1953, keeping its traditional parts intact. Tamanoyu stands in a beautiful natural setting, ideal for rejuvenation. The 16 rooms of the hotel offer a nice mix of Japanese and Western style (as for the beds). The private bathrooms and outdoor baths are a must. There is also a restaurant, a tea room and a bar, which is very nice. You can also stop by the hotel shop for handicrafts.
