This theatre was built in 1916. The building was saved from demolition and restored in 1985 thanks to the dedication of the inhabitants. It is the pride of the small town. It is one of the most beautiful theaters in Japan and also one of the most alive, because it continues to give performances. You can visit the theatre, as well as the backstage and the basement where the machinery is located. This artistic center has been a favorite of the local people since the Taisho period. The tour gives an insight into the life of an old Japanese theater.

Ne pas manquer de visiter ce magnifique petit théâtre de Kabuki en bois bien restauré . En sous sol la scène tournante le panneau de fond de la scène et l'aménagement des sièges des spectateurs sont des éléments remarquables.
