TAMAMO PORT LIGHTHOUSE (SETO SHIRUBE)

This pretty lighthouse, just a few meters high, is the first in the world to be built from glass blocks, so the light shines through it from all sides. With its mysterious red glow, it was voted the most romantic lighthouse in the world in 2016, and is considered one of the three largest nighttime lighthouses in Japan by the tourism board. In the summer, many couples come to stroll along the seawall to admire the scenery.
