This very nice restaurant is part of the prestigious kappo ryokan of the same name. It is surrounded by forests. The place is full of history, because it is here that the Sino-Japanese peace treaty was signed on April 17, 1895 between the Empire of Japan and the Qing Dynasty. It was also here that fugu was first served (the first restaurant to be licensed to serve puffer fish). It has always been on the menu, magnified by the chefs of the house. An extraordinary experience in an exceptional place.
