SUZA-MAIN WORLD SHRINE

The shrine of the Shūkyō Mahikari sect is located one kilometer west of the Hida Minzoku Mura. In fact, its large golden roof can be seen from the open-air museum. The shrine is currently undergoing extensive renovations until about 2025. You can discover other places of worship in the vicinity, such as the Aiwakan Shrine, opening in 2020, or Hikaru Shinden, a shrine to the founder. In Tokyo, young people may accost you offering to say a prayer while shielding your hand, this is the Shūkyō Mahikari sect.
