You can try the famous Hida beef, hoba miso, hida-soba and other local specialties. Each set includes a bowl of rice and miso soup on the side. It's tasty, it's hearty and there's something for everyone, including vegetarian dishes(hoba-yaki). The restaurant is located in a nice little wooden house, which opened in 1961. There are several areas, including a tatami area where you can enjoy your meal in the pure Japanese tradition. The retro atmosphere that reigns in this building is a pleasant plus.
