Literally a minute's walk from the Aomori station exit, A-FACTORY is a modern hybrid shopping center, housing a duty-free market for all kinds of local produce, an apple cider factory (a must in the area) and several restaurants. Suffice it to say that A-FACTORY is an interesting stopover on your visit to the town, especially for the local produce and famous apples. You can watch the cider-making process from behind the windows, and eat... crêpes!
