Located in Arai station (Tōzai line), this memorial center opened in 2016 conveys the memory of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. The1st floor features relief maps, books and interactive media. The2nd floor room features an exhibition presenting rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts, as well as the disaster from different angles, highlighting the lives and memories of people living in the affected area. A place of memory looking to the future.
