With its bold silhouette and all-glass facades, this media library is one of the city's architectural gems. Designed by the famous architect Toyo Ito, this pillarless building has won numerous awards for its innovative design. Located on verdant avenue Jozenji-dori, the seven-storey building houses a library, art galleries, a cinema, a multi-purpose hall and a store dedicated to local crafts. An essential cultural hub, it also houses a memorial space dedicated to the 2011 earthquake.
