In the area around Ouchi-Juku lies To-no-Hetsuri, an impressive formation of tower-like cliffs, classified as a national natural monument. Sculpted by erosion over some 28 million years, these walls are composed of hard and soft rock, creating a spectacular relief, particularly in autumn, when the flamboyant foliage contrasts with the white stone. A suspension bridge and a lookout point allow you to admire this unique site, which also houses a small sanctuary and a nearby food and souvenir area.
