The Suehiro sake brewery was founded in the late Edo period, in the mid-19th century. Its magnificent main building, the Kaeigura, where sake is made, has been designated a National Tangible Cultural Property. Visitors can take a guided tour in Japanese of the sake-making process. Throughout the year, visitors can sample several varieties of sake free of charge, all of which are available for sale.
