Niibo is a small municipality on the island, without any particular charm. If you're driving, you can enjoy some sites of interest in the surrounding area. Note the must-see Homma Nō-Butaim, an open-air Nō theater dating back to the 19th century, the Niibo Museum of History and Folklore, or the Niibo Ginzan Silver Mine, also known as the Takizawa Ginzan Silver Mine, which began producing silver at the same time as the Tsurushi Ginzan Silver Mine, the largest silver mine in Sado. If you want to put your suitcase down for a night, during an itinerary, go to the nice minshuku Ohana.
