HOKKAIDO NORTHERN PEOPLE'S MUSEUM

Opened in 1993, this museum is an interesting stop to understand and apprehend the history of the men and women of the Arctic Circle and the northern icy regions. Visitors can enjoy beautiful exhibits on the Ainu, the Inuit and other peoples of Canada and Siberia. There are illustrations, clothing, objects, crafts, audio recordings and videos.
