This very interesting museum offers visitors an overview of more than 1,400 years of Ōsaka history. As a reminder, the city was once considered the political and religious centre of the country and even bore the title of capital. Each floor of the museum is dedicated to one of the key periods in the city's history and highlights its development and evolution through photos, videos, paintings, objects and life-size reproductions. Temporary exhibitions are organised throughout the year.
