LAKE BIWA GREAT FIREWORKS FESTIVAL

In summer, in Japan, we enjoy the fireworks festivals which take place in the four corners of the Archipelago. In Kansai, the one of Lake Biwa, in Shiga prefecture, is particularly impressive. More than 10,000 fireworks illuminate the sky above the lake. These fireworks are harmonized with the water flowing from the many fountains. Every year, more than 350,000 people flock to the shores to enjoy this amazing event.
