TUCSON MUSEUM OF ART

The museum is the ideal starting point for discovering Phoenix's historic district. The collection of pre-Columbian and Indian art from all over Latin America is superb, with objects dating back over 2,000 years. The space dedicated to the American West is radically different, offering a window onto the landscapes of its wilderness and the traditions of its native populations. Another room is devoted to contemporary art, while numerous temporary exhibitions are held throughout the year.
