Museum dedicated to Arizona rocks and minerals, housing three galleries with interactive and digital exhibits
This new museum has recently been integrated into the renovated building of the superb Pima County Courthouse: it's a success. Already regarded as one of Tucson's must-see attractions, it is dedicated to Arizona's abundance of stones and minerals. Three main galleries cover some 1,115m2: Mineral Evolution, Arizona Gallery and Gem Gallery. These include interactive and digital exhibits, which generally take between 1h30 and 2 hours to explore.
