Petrified Forest National Park Visitor Center for information and a tour map
This is the Visitor Center for the entire park, although tourists visiting from the south access can also get information from the rangers at the Rainbow Forest Museum. There is information about the park, a cafeteria, a store, a post office, and a gas station. If for those going to Holbrook it will be quick and easy to find where to have lunch, for those taking Route 66 west, it is better to have lunch here.
