Waterfront Park

The park stretches around the San Diego County Administration Center, a handsome Spanish Revival Art Deco building built in 1938. It offers a privileged location on the waterfront, with the tall buildings of Downtown on the other side. It features an attractive sculpted fountain, covered in mosaics and christened Guardian of Water. With its pond, water fountains, play areas and art installations, Waterfront Park is a pleasant place to stroll through when exploring the area on foot.
