Museum of Photographic Arts

Founded in 1983, this fine establishment will delight lovers of photography, film and video. It is one of the country's few independent institutions dedicated to these fields, with permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as visual programs that systematically address cultural, historical and social issues. In March 2015, it became the first museum in Southern California to offer the "Pay What You Wish" admission policy.
