A luxury hotel, but it does not disappoint. Located between Petco Park and Gaslamp Quarter, Solamar welcomes both business and leisure guests. The swimming pool is located on the roof next to the LoungeSix bar. The 235 rooms are stylish, including curtains in blue tones and lasuré wood furniture. There is also a possibility to make a reservation and pamper yourself directly in your room.

Not good. AVOID. Expensive hotel for subpar service. Can't find paid reservation, room entry without knocking, valet deliberately declines qr code pickup, constant construction noise (6 AM on a Saturday??) Fresh paint but broken fixtures lol.

Close it down guys, re-open if you can figure it out, borderline reminds me of Fyre festival documentary.

Much better places to spend ur 400+ for a night.

It's being remodel right now so if you stay you might hear some construction noises but other than that it's cool here's a picture of the 4th floor pool/bar area that's being renovated.
