One of San Diego's main attractions is its beaches, each of which is ideal for different activities. Looking for relaxation? We recommend Coronado Beach, a beautiful stretch of fine white sand. Fancy a stroll? Head for Mission Beach - just south of Pacific Beach - which stretches for just over 3 km. And if you want to watch sea lions as the sun sets, head for La Jolla. Note that most of the city's beaches are equipped with beach volleyball nets and fire pits - the popular bonfires.
