I ordered tacos: tri tip, carnitas, and fish. Although not Mexican in flavor, I really enjoyed the beef and pork. I'm pretty sure they added a sweet secret sauce to these tacos (which Americanized it). The fish taco was good but was falling apart. The chips were good, the salsa mild/bland. The line was long but moved pretty quickly. Bathrooms are available for customers only, but line too long to wait. Limited seating. Most people ate outdoors at tables. We sat on the ground. The indoor dining area was very dark (and dingy), and we couldn't find enough chairs. Overall, it was good, but I probably would not go back because there are tons of other restaurants available to try out.
Cool hangout spot, and tacos were also good. I ordered the flounder pounder and it tastes great, but it's too wet that the tacos fall apart, so I suggest adding another tortilla like what Taco Nazo does to their tacos.
My new favorite street taco shop in Huntington Beach area. Tri-tip tacos and shrimp tacos are the bomb. The nachos are incredible. The steak quesadilla is big and so good. The atmosphere is very day of the dead-ish meats horror ghost/alien movie theme. The art work is this classic chalk drawings. Service is fast and very friendly. Plenty of parking but during busy times seating gets limited. If they had more tables outside, would be perfect.
Tried their tacos carne asada and shrimp tacos and surf and turf and they were good, the carne dried a bit and the shrimp so good
As to the steak nachos it was good but nachos bit oily
Perfect location
I’ve been coming to this sanchos tacos for years and not once I think ever in my food service experience had a worker actually make my day better. Mick the gentleman working the register was more than amazing with each customer walking in. I don’t write reviews but I thought he at least deserved one as well as the amazing restaurant
The best tacos I’ve had in a while. I had the OG tacos with carne asada and the flavor was great, not at all what I expected. I also had the flounder pounder fish taco and it was delicious. I didn’t feel overly stuffed and I was able to still walk around the beach feeling great! Definitely coming back again to try a burrito!
Construction of the new place in front of Sancho’s takes away from the views and atmosphere . Food has gotten to be smaller portions, while the prices have gone up a lot. Not what it used to be, and it used to be one of my favorite spots in HB.
We absolutely abhor the unsightly building that was erected in front of Sancho’s and blocked the view. A behemoth of a building obscuring a Huntington Beach landmark and a place of certain culture. Will never do business with the new restaurant. My loyalty goes to Sancho’s. Always.
Good place for some Tacos. I really liked the Shrimp and Pork Tacos. The burrito wasn't as tasty. Good chips and guac. Salsa didn't have much flavor. Good times!
Great service and scenery.
Overlooking PCH and the beach.
