Museum with 28 galleries in Palm Springs exhibiting high quality collections, works by modern and contemporary artists
Founded in 1938 as the Palm Springs Desert Museum, the museum houses high-quality collections. It features works by modern and contemporary artists such as Chagall, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Alexander Calder and Robert Rauschenberg. In all, some 12,000 pieces are on display in 28 galleries and two sculpture gardens. The building is also home to the Annenberg Theater, a superb performance venue. In front of the entrance, it's hard to miss the giant statue of Marilyn Monroe from the film Seven Years Thinking.

Et la bonne astuce est la visite le jeudi; le musée est gratuit! N'oubliez pas non plus le petit jardin au sous-sol!
Et bien sûr en sortant la merveilleuse statue de Marilyn en face du musée!
