This is the best restaurant in Santa Barbara! I had the best experience with service, food and the overall experience! They are very familiar with gluten free options! I highly recommend it and will be back! ????????????. Eva was so welcoming and lovely. Omar was an outstanding waiter and very attentive!

Went to lunch at the little outlet left of/ next to the main restaurant and had the greatest experience. Eva was above and beyond with her service and delightful attitude. The charcuterie has plenty and the pizza was delicious. If you have room, try one of her Negroni’s. A great wrap up to a wonderful meal.

I am visiting from FL and wanted an authentic Italian meal. My friend had only been to the pizzeria and we decided to try the restaurant!
We were seated immediately at the table of our choice on the outside patio that featured wonderful heating lamps!
The service by Marco was the BEST I have seen! He was prompt and very knowledgeable of the menu!
Both our pasta dishes were handmade … I had the duck ravioli with mushroom sauce and my friend had the Angel Hair pasta with fresh tomatoes!
We will return!❤️❤️❤️

I've been to this restaurant several times. I think their food is pretty good. Maybe not the best italian in town, but its definitely decent. I always get the gnocchi. It's my favorite italian dish. The service is always great here and I think the atmosphere is good too. This place is right next to scarlet begonia and across the street from the public market. I like olio pizza a little bit better. That is just around the side, you can enter it from the parking lot side. I prefer the pizza here versus the olio italian. They are two separate businesses.

Que mejor que juntarse para saborear unas pizzas en un lugar típico italiano, con un ambiente bastante logrado una atención exquisita y un entorno acogedor

Tutto come in Italia, raccomandato ! Il proprietario è siciliano ed è stato un piacere farci due chiacchiere , molto cordiale. Solo la Clientela un’ pó agè rispetto ai ristoranti presenti nella via

When we arrived and were waiting to be seated, one older male waiter barked as us to move. I understand that there’s exactly 2 square feet of standing space between the door and the check-in desk thingie, but damn.
We waited there for like 5 minutes and tried to stand as far from the “pathway” as possible, but it was really tight. There was only two of us and I guess we should’ve stood outside or something? They need to move some seating around to allow for more room for this.

We also wanted to sit outside and despite half of the tables being empty, they told us no.

We sat inside at a table for four, with three place settings (?), and the glasses were dirty.
The cranky waiter came to give us water and take away the extra dishes/glasses.

The vibe was just stuffy, cramped, and gross so we left without even drinking the water- which is probably the safest option.

We had a really great meal here. The pesto linguine pasta was flavorful and well constructed. The salmon was well cooked. The burrata, bruschetta, and angel hair pasta were also solid. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating as we had some toddlers with us. The host and one of the bussers didn’t seem that enthusiastic and almost a bit annoyed as we had a few toddlers with us. I understand that it was a white table cloth restaurant and having children isn’t ideal but we ate at 5pm and there was only one other family eating dinner at the time. In any event, the food was solid.

3 stars for the bread. We had to ask for olive oil and balsamic (to dip) and that should be a given. Balsamic tasted like red wine vinagar, just off tasting. The sauce was so peppery/spicy like an arribiata- but was not labeled that on the menu. Chicken piccata was so sad..like boiled chicken in a lemon sauce. A total bummer for the whole family.

The food here is consistently excellent and the staff is lovely. My celery root soup was oh so good. They had a special fig salad wrapped in prosciutto that was to die for. I wish I had taken more pics. The lasagna was also very good. You can’t go wrong here.

We eat at Olie often and always have a fantastic experience. The food is amazing. My favorite is the Tagliata di Bue - Beef tenderloin over a potato tart, arugula, shaved parmesan and truffle oil. The pear tart with warm caramel sauce is really fantastic and the Raspberry creme brulee is also a favorite. Oh, and don't forgot to try the pasta dishes or many chicken dishes. The choices are endless. The staff is professional and knowledgeable.

Friendly staff, and good food.

Rude and unprofessional service with nothing special about food taste or quality.
We spend 5 minutes explaining that we want to sit in the restaurant, but not pizza (not sure why we were forced to go there).
They forgot part of the order….
There lots of other great places in Santa Barbara to visit, recommend it as your last stop in places to visit in downtown.

Always an enjoyable experience. I have been going here consistently since I was a kid and the place is still phenomenal. On the lunch menu, the house-made sausages are great. At dinner be sure to try the capellini pomodoro, a simple but well-executed classic.

Great ambience, service and menu. I was not impressed with the food prep. For example a medium rare lamb chops order came out well done. A burrata slaked was brought out with hard unripened tomatoes.
