We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in March 2024. Although the hotel was newly renovated, we were disappointed to find that the pool and hot tub were closed during our stay. Additionally, we encountered a bed bug in our room on the last night, which was concerning. Despite bringing this issue to the staff's attention, it was not addressed satisfactorily. We reached out to Expedia for assistance with a refund or partial refund, but unfortunately, there was no resolution. Overall, our experience was marred by these issues, and now we have to take extra precautions to ensure we don't bring any critters home.
Overall good experience except checking in the young Asian girl at the front desk didn't seem to understand or respect the diamond member and then said I was gold and I convinced her I was diamond when she looked it up it just got stupid by the minute she did not say thank you for being Diamond member or any of the normal Hilton expectations
Been here several times. Love the proximity to great restaurants, this time, no hot breakfast pool and spa closed and view of the freeway and homeless tents. Subpar for sure
Safe and clean spot to stay in. It’s next to a few restaurants and bars. They do make you pay for parking so keep that in mind. You do not want to get towed here. Breakfast was alright although I do wish they had more options for vegetarians.
I had a fantastic experience at Hampton Inn & Suites Napa! Dickson at the front desk went above and beyond during check-in, making us feel right at home. The next morning, the complimentary breakfast was a delightful surprise, and Azalea's warm welcome and genuine smile made it even better. Exceptional service all around!
Hampton Inn and Suites is no 5 Star Ritz Carlton but the staff make it feel like it is. If there was a way to give over 5 stars for service I would.
I had to book last minute on a weekend so I did not have a choice on room type but the double queen ADA accessible room is MASSIVE for a double queen room. The only downside of the room was it not having a microwave. The location is not far from downtown but does not have much nearby within safe walking distance for anything late night, but across the parking lot is a great restaurant with great food. The front desk staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating. Extra Big shout outs to Nathon, Sheri, and Aprill for making my last minute stay here so lovely.
Dirty room:
Checked in the evening, started to unpack and then notices how dirty the toilet seat was. I was shocked to be honest, I've never experienced this in all my hotel stays. I mostly stay at Marriotts (over 800 nights) but was thinking of switching to the Hilton brand.
The front desk sent someone to clean the toilet, which they did but I still felt uncomfortable with the experience and they agreed to change rooms.
Servicing the room:
I asked that the room be cleaned every day. Didn't happen. I did at check-in mention that I wanted the daily service, after 2 misses I had to ask (2nd time) to finally get it going
Location:
About a 20 minute walk from downtown Napa along the Napa Trail. There are several homeless by the river but I wasn't bothered by them. That said I wouldn't feel comfortable with my wife or daughter walking the trail alone
The good:
Friendly staff, attempt to resolve problems, decent size rooms. Comfortable beds
kinda ruins the experience to be nickel and dimed like that.
other than that, pretty typical hotel stay. not particularly note-worthy, don't expect extra napa check-in finishes... it's a hampton.
