In the heart of the old town, a hamlet of 16th-century houses has been lovingly restored as a legacy from another era. Each house has a few rooms, some of which are blind, but all of which are comfortable, air-conditioned and typical of the area, with private or shared bathrooms. Some houses have an outdoor rooftop from which to admire the Nizwa oasis. Breakfast is served at the nearby Al Aqr restaurant. Possibility of privatizing an entire house for a small group or family.
