HISTORICAL MUSEUM OF SISIAN AND SIUNIK

The Sisian Municipal Museum, located in a garden dotted with a few tombstones and khatchkars in the centre of the city, has preserved pieces of ceramics and pottery dating back to the 2nd millennium BC, and other objects dating back to a period before the settlement of the Kingdom of Urartou in this region, even to the Bronze Age. Some of the objects on display there will provide a better understanding of the history of the neighbouring site of Zohrats Kar.
