FESTA DELLA MADONNA

In the villages of the Calabria coast, in Soverato, Palmi and Nicotera, there is a procession at sea, with a multitude of boats and boats to celebrate the Virgin.

In Palmi, the procession, also called "festa della Varia", is of great symbolic and folklore interest. The design is not trivial: a monument of more than 25 meters high, adorned with small angels with, on the crown, the triumphant Virgin, is worn by faithful who accompany the ceremony of religious songs.
