TRENO DELLA SILA

This steam train, dating back to 1926, crosses the pristine mountains of the Sila National Park from Moccone to San Nicola Silvana Mansio (the highest narrow-gauge railway station in Europe at 1,400 metres above sea level), passing through Camigliatello Silano. The stop in San Nicola lasts about an hour, during which you can enjoy the scenery, or sit down at the Locomotiva, a restaurant in old wagons, serving roborative mountain cuisine. A beautiful experience, a journey back in time in the heart of wild nature.
