The Archbishop's Palace houses the Diocesan Museum of Cosenza and the Picture Gallery.
Since 2013, the imposing archiepiscopal palace houses the Diocesan Museum of Cosenza and the Pinacoteca. Various paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries, including an Immaculate by the Neapolitan painter Luca Giordano, and a rich treasure of liturgical objects, particularly from the Aragonese period. But its major piece remains the Staurothèque, a reliquary cross, a masterpiece of Sicilian goldsmithery from the Norman period (12th century), blending Western and Muslim influences. It is said to have been offered by Frederick II of Swabia on the occasion of the reconsecration of the Duomo .
