Welcome to the Coppola family! The director of The Godfather and Apocalypse Now comes from the small town of Bernalda. Inaugurated in 2012, the Palazzo Margherita, decorated by Jacques Grange, is a luxury hotel with a warm and bohemian chic. It has a magnificent garden with lush vegetation around a swimming pool and a private beach facing the Ionian Sea. For those who can't afford such a stay, go to the nearby bar, the Cinecittà, famous for its pizzas, open late at night, and where the lucky ones will meet Francis Ford Coppola!

Avevo chiesto di avere una proroga del voucher del valore di circa 9000 euro prima che esso scadesse. Mi era stata data la conferma telefonicamente che lo avrebbero prorogato mentre oggi ho ricevuto tramite l'agenzia di viaggio (Jakie O) che non sarebbe stato così. Questo è il modo in cui trattano i nuovi clienti.

This is a one-of-a-kind property that exceeds expectations on all dimensions. A jaw dropping gorgeously restored villa that dates back to the late 1800’s. The food, management and staff all are perfect. Literally planing our next visit as we walk out the gate. 10/10.
