Also called the "Sistine Chapel of rock churches", the Crypt of Original Sin displays on its rocky walls a splendid painted decoration dating from the 9th century. Scenes of the Creation and the Original Sin, as well as numerous angels and saints, adorn the walls of this cavity that served as an oratory for a Benedictine monastery that has now disappeared.
