MONTICCHIO LAGHI

Of volcanic origin, Lago Piccolo (16 ha) and Lago Grande (38 ha) are among the curiosities of the Vulture region, to which they almost give a Swiss air. They occupy the ancient craters of the Vulture and are surrounded by an astonishing vegetation. Close to a purification plant that produces one of the best waters in the country, the Gaudianello, this site is a haven of nature and peace, with some attractions such as boats on the water and tourist shops where you can, for example, get good chestnut honey.
